Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

SmartWork Implementations (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website www.smartworkimplementations.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit our Site or interact with us.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: directly from you when you fill out a form, and automatically through analytics tools when you browse the Site.

Information you provide to us:

  • Contact Form – When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. You are not required to provide any other personal information to use the form.

Information collected automatically:

  • Google Analytics – We use Google Analytics (set up through the Site Kit plugin) to understand how visitors use our Site. This tool collects anonymous data such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the approximate geographic location (city/country), the type of device and browser you use, and your IP address (which is anonymized). This data is collected via cookies (see “Cookies and Analytics” below).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and messages sent through the contact form.
  • To follow up after a call or request you have made.
  • For marketing purposes, such as sending follow-up emails to people who have expressed interest in our services (only if you have provided contact information).
  • To improve our website and services by analyzing how visitors interact with the Site.
  • If you become a client, we retain your information for the duration of our business relationship.

Cookies and Analytics

Our Site uses cookies – small text files placed on your device – to help us analyze how you use the site via Google Analytics. These cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors, where visitors come from, and which pages they view.

The cookies used for analytics are:

  • _ga – Used to distinguish users.
  • _gid – Used to distinguish users.
  • _gat – Used to throttle request rate.

You can disable cookies by changing your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of the Site.

We do not currently display a cookie consent banner. If you would like more control over cookies, you can adjust your browser preferences or contact us for guidance.

Newsletter

Our newsletter, the SmartWork Bulletin, is managed through Substack. Signups for the newsletter happen directly on Substack’s platform, not on our website. When you subscribe, your email address and any other information you provide on Substack are governed by Substack’s own privacy policy. We do not collect or store subscriber data on our website.

Payments

We do not accept payments directly on this website. If you purchase a service or toolkit, you are redirected to Stripe to complete the transaction. Stripe processes all payment information, including credit card details, on their secure servers. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to any information you provide during the payment process.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate our website and business. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services we request. Our current service providers include:

  • Google Analytics – Website analytics (via Site Kit plugin)
  • Tally – Form hosting (contact form submissions are stored on Tally’s servers)
  • Asana – Where we store contact form data for follow-up and marketing purposes
  • Substack – Newsletter platform
  • Stripe – Payment processing (only when you are redirected to complete a purchase)

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy that applies to how they handle your information.

Data Retention

We retain information from contact form submissions in Asana for marketing purposes. Specifically:

  • We keep the data to follow up on inquiries, reply to messages, and follow up after calls or meetings.
  • If you become a client, we retain your information for the duration of our business relationship and as needed for legitimate business purposes.
  • If you request deletion of your information, we will remove it from our records, except where retention is required by law.

We do not have a fixed automatic deletion period; we review stored data periodically and remove it when it is no longer needed.

Your Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of the United States, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access – You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction – You may ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion – You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal obligations).

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at admin@smartworkimplementations.com. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Note: If you are located in the European Union, UK, or other jurisdictions with additional data protection laws, additional rights may apply. At this time, our services are directed only to users in the United States.

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include using secure connections (SSL/TLS) on our website and limiting access to personal data within our organization. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to other sites (e.g., Substack, Stripe). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
